Background: A rich, fast-absorbing cream that deeply hydrates dry, uneven, tired-looking skin without leaving it greasy.  To reduce the appearance of wrinkles, increase collagen formation, enhance elasticity of the skin and promote evenness of skin tone. Formulation: Taking lessons from traditional Ayurveda medicine, modern skincare science, and with proven ingredients, we developed the cream for proactive skin protection against time and environmental aggression. We have combined Barley Beta Glucans, Niacinamide, extracts from Indian Kino tree and Black Pepper in a synergistic manner to formulate the cream. Key Ingredients: Barley Beta Glucans Obtained from malted barley extract and rich in polyphenols, it adds antioxidant protection to the formulation. Also rich in ferulic acid, it helps in maintaining collagen balance in the skin. It's anti-oxidant properties protects the skin from the damage caused by free radicals. Niacinamide Enhances skin tone, helps improve the overall appearance of skin, improves skin texture, may help to reduce the appearance of acne. Acetyl Glucosamine NAG is a small amino monosaccharide molecule obtained by bio-fermentation. It helps in transdermal absorption and can improve the skin hydration and functions as moisturizer. Additionally, it promotes HA synthesis, and whitens skin, especially when applied with niacinamide, helps fade skin color spot and reduce the phenomenon of uneven complexion caused by UV radiation, showing a beautiful and charming skin. Malabar Wood or Indian Kino What do berries, red wine, and an Ayurvedic medicinal preparation called Drakshasava have in common? A high content of stilbenes (phenylpropanoid compounds), notably resveratrol and its analogue pterostilbene. Pterostilbene is more stable in vivo than resveratrol. Much like resveratrol, Pterostilbene is a stilbenoid an anti-oxidant produced by plants to protect themselves against viral, bacterial and fungal attack and excessive sunlight. Pterostilbene was identified as the major phenolic compound in Drakshasava, an Ayurvedic preparation for treatment of cardiovascular problems.  Pterostilbene is better absorbed, and more biologically active than resveratrol and its antifungal properties are 5-10 times more powerful than resveratrol. Pterostilbene shows potent anti-inflammatory activity, mediated through inhibition of pro-inflammatory enzymes and cytokines. Tetrahydropiperine or THP is derived from piperine, the active principle of black peppercorns (Piper nigrum).
